After over a decade of being a Senior Instructional Designer at the American University in Cairo, I’ve now moved on to become the Equity Unbound and MYFest Program Manager. Next to that I am an independent consultant and freelancer in the field of Learning Design creating awesome learning environments and experiences (both online and in-person). My concentration in my MA in Educational Leadership was higher education and online learning, which is where I got this drive for digital education.

As a lifelong learner and educator, I consider myself a critical digital pedagogue and am passionate about creating equitable and engaging online spaces, ed tech, open education, learning experience design, accessibility, digital literacies, digital pedagogy, productivity science, meditation, journaling and coffee.
