Come explore how you might invite students to reflect on AI feedback alongside peer feedback! The PAIRR project (Peer and AI Review + Reflection) is a human-centered, research-based pedagogy and professional development project funded by the California Education Learning Lab. Initially developed at the University of California, Davis (United States). Our approach fosters AI literacy by teaching students how to use AI and human input to support their revision process rather than having AI do the writing for them! In PAIRR, human feedback remains central, crucial to fostering engagement and authentic writing experiences.

In the webinar, we will share our open and adaptable assignments as well as our tested feedback prompt that emphasizes Linguistic Justice and Equity. This prompt can be used with any chatbot or with the not-for-profit app MyEssayFeedback.ai.

The PAIRR approach was developed at the University of California, Davis and is now supported by the California Education Learning Lab. For more on PAIRR, including published research on our approach, see https://writing.ucdavis.edu/pairr
