This interactive session invites learning professionals, educators, and edtech thinkers to explore a work-in-progress framework: the AI Ethics Rubric for Learning Professionals. Rather than approaching ethics as a checklist or compliance requirement, we’ll use a design lens to reflect on how AI systems are shaped—and shape us—in learning environments.
Participants will walk through 10 key dimensions of ethical AI use, explore real-world and speculative scenarios, and engage in thoughtful discussion around risk, intention, and opportunity. This is not a lecture—it’s a collaborative working session to surface questions, share experiences, and co-create stronger ethical practices in the face of rapid AI adoption.
Whether you’re just starting to explore AI in learning or actively leading implementation efforts, this session offers a space to slow down, think deeply, and design forward.
