Like all of us, Tai Munro, PhD is more than one thing. She is a compassionate and innovative educator who believes in creating classrooms and course content that engage students of all backgrounds, abilities, and experiences. She is a settler who works to make reconciliation an action. She is a caretaker to a small menagerie of pets and service dogs in training. She is also an international athlete and a local level coach for dragon boating. Tai’s interdisciplinary approach reflects her belief in the power of education to transform lives and landscapes alike. She is cautiously optimistic about AI, seeing a lot of potential but also a lot of risk if we aren’t critical of how we are using it and why.
