
Leonardo Menegola
Leonardo Menegola is an Assistant Professor in Special Education at eCampus University, Italy. He holds a PhD in Psychological and Medical Anthropology and a background spanning philosophy, clinical psychology, and nearly 30 years of practice in music therapy and expressive arts. His research focuses on educational mediation, hybrid and online learning, embodied pedagogy, inclusion, and the pedagogical value of creative languages in teaching and formative relationships. He developed the Hybrid Learning Circles model through a three-year action-research study at the University of Milano-Bicocca (2022–2024, N=252). He is President of Sensoria ETS (expressive therapies and community music) and a registered music therapist and clinical supervisor. He is currently organising a Special Track on “Expressive Mediators” in inclusive digital higher education at HELMeTO 2026 (Cagliari, September 2026).
