
Kim Fox
Kim Fox is a professor of practice at The American University in Cairo (AUC), specializing in radio, audio and podcasting. A scholar-creative, she produces, teaches and conducts research on podcasting with a focus on Global Majority podcasters. She is the executive producer of the award-winning bilingual podcast Ehky Ya Masr (Tell Your Story Egypt) and founder of PodFest Cairo, the first podcasting conference in Egypt and Africa. Fox has coached students to produce over 200 award-winning audio pieces and has led audio training workshops in Lebanon, Hungary, Kyrgyzstan, the UAE and more. Her service includes past co-president of the Association for Independents in Radio (AIR) and past-president of the Broadcast Education Association (BEA). A longtime media educator and former U.S. radio professional, Fox continues to shape international conversations around podcasting and audio storytelling.
