The main purpose of this workshop is to introduce educators and practitioners to Theatre of the Oppressed as a problem-posing tool. The central themes will relate to issues that teachers face in the classroom, particularly their shifting positionalities between oppressor and oppressed. After exploring these themes, participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own curricula and consider how they can use theatre as a doorway to explore their content.
