Rebecca will introduce the concepts of sociocracy and intentional community, and will describe the benefits of a governance system that is not consensus nor majority rules. She will touch on how an introduction to some of the sociocracy concepts can help students be more effective at group work. Although not necessary, you will get a little more out of the workshop if you do a little pre-reading/watching prior to the workshop. I’ve added some reflection questions — feel free to answer them directly in this document. You can also ask me questions in this document.
