Through comedic videos (in dark times, we have to laugh!), relatable pop culture examples, quotations, and comics, we will explore what we mean by the terms “Diversity” and “Inclusion” as well as interrogate the difference between “Equality” and “Equity.” This presentation will be interactive, guided by thoughtful questions, asking participants to challenge whey they mean when they use these words. By the end of the session, participants will walk away with a more meaningful understanding of how DEI is useful, and awareness of its limitations.
