Grades, rankings, and even well-meaning equity slogans can sometimes bruise us especially when they mask stagnation and shallow commitments to justice and transformation. In this session, we will consider the reality of moral injury within higher education and why it is imperative to name those wounds. We will examine the concept of moral courage and how it can help engender moral imagination to co-design liberatory academic cultures that plant seeds for intergenerational wellbeing.
