Storytelling is how we make sense of the world and construct our identities, so narratives can reveal important truths about human experience. When we invite a learner to tell us their story, they exist in a whole new dimension. The purpose of this session is to share some narrative and voice-centred approaches to research and scholarship in education. You will write your own short story from the perspective of a learner and then try out some different approaches to narrative analysis to discover what a researcher might learn from your story. Participants will be invited to share their insights with others in the group.
