Julie Gamberg

Co-facilitator, Guest Facilitator or Speaker, Open Education and Digital Literacies

Julie Gamberg teaches humanities, creative writing, and composition at Glendale College in California, with a focus on equitable, humanized pedagogy and online education. She loves collaborating with students and colleagues to continue to grow, as well as supporting fellow faculty in pedagogy and design. In 2022, she co-founded the annual Language Equity in Academia: Reimagining (k)Nowledge (LEARN) Conference which engages educators across disciplined in linguistic equity and justice practices. She also serves as a course facilitator, and occasional designer, for the California Virtual Campus – Online Education Initiative (CVC-OEI) which focuses on increasing student access and success in the California Community Colleges (CCCs) through excellence in online education. She is a co-PI for the Peer and AI Review & Reflection project funded by the California Education Learning Lab.
