How we gather matters, and the way we begin and end any gathering is crucial for its success (Priya Parker 2018). In educational gatherings, such as class sessions or professional development sessions, entrance tickets and exit tickets are inclusive and flexible activities facilitators can use to start and conclude their gatherings. These versatile activities work well in both onsite and online sessions and can be adapted to any discipline, learning context, or gathering.
In this interactive and co-creative workshop, we invite participants to try out different entrance and exit tickets. In addition, we encourage participants to develop entrance and exit tickets for their own contexts and test them with other workshop participants. Through these workshop activities, participants will connect with one another, experience playful ways of beginning and ending sessions, and get their creative juices flowing. This workshop is designed for anyone who organizes, facilitates, and participates in educational gatherings.
