“Write Anyway” is a 60-minute, one-time prompt-based writing workshop offered as part of MyFest25 by Equity Unbound. Designed for anyone who wants to explore or reconnect with writing, this session uses thoughtful prompts to spark reflection, encourage creativity, and nurture personal growth. Together, we’ll write in a supportive environment with time to share (if you choose) and respond with affirming feedback. Instead of critique, we ask questions like, “What part of this story spoke to you most?” This simple shift in approach builds a sense of safety, trust, and connection. Whether you’re an educator, a creator, or simply someone looking for a fresh way to process ideas and feelings, this workshop invites you to slow down, write what’s true for you in the moment, and connect with others doing the same. A follow-up space will be available in the Async Write Anyways WhatsApp group for those who wish to keep the conversation going. No experience required. No polished writing expected. Just bring yourself—and write anyway.
