I am an Associate Professor and Course Leader of the PGCert in Higher Education at Ravensbourne University London. A passionate teacher since 1999, I have worked across all educational sectors and have been a teacher educator since 2009.
I am a Principal Fellow of AdvanceHE (PFHEA), a member of the SEDA Roll of Honour, and a National Teaching Fellow.
My research focuses on the challenges of implementing more inclusive learning design, as well as the design and practice of ‘better’ assessment. I am the author of the innovative book Inclusive Learning Design in Higher Education (Routledge, 2023), which is accompanied by a dedicated website. I am currently writing a new book about the PGCert in Higher Education, to be published by Routledge in 2025.
