DESCRIPTION:Theatre of the Oppressed was developed by Augusto Boal in Brazi
 l in the mid-60s. Its development stemmed from two core ideas. Firstly\, i

 bstacles. An art that can help emancipate. Secondly\, it was based on the 
 belief that acting is a skill that can be nurtured through practice and ex
 citement. This sessions explores possible applications in pedagogical sett
 ings.
